Minister Mélanie Joly visits Horizon Weekly editorial headquarters

On October 19, 2018, Minister of Tourism, Francophonie and Official languages Melanie Joly paid a visit to Horizon Weekly headquarters in Montreal.

During the visit, Minister Joly spoke about her first trip to Armenia with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, mentioning her visit to the Armenian Genocide memorial and the Genocide museum in Dzidzernagapert.

At the meeting, Horizon Weekly editor in-chief Vahakn Karakachian presented the Minister with an artwork by Ardean center for Art and Design which represents a 12th century cross stone from Noraduz, Armenia.

At the end of the visit, Horizon Weekly senior correspondent Diana Skaya conducted an interview with Minister Joly, which will be published shortly.
