Official Opening of Montreal’s Armenian Community Centre’s ‘Arto & Alice Markarian’ Restaurant –

The Montreal Armenian Community Centre’s Restaurant was renovated and renamed after its generous benefactors, Mr. And Mrs. Arto and Alice Markarian. Under the Auspices of His Most Reverend, Bishop Meghrig Parikian, Prelate of the Armenian Prelacy of Canada, the official opening took place with the benefactors, members of their family and friends, as well as representatives of different Armenian organizations on the evening of May 13, 2015. 

In his address, the president of the Sourp Hagop Armenian Apostolic Church Council, Kevork Ohanian, thanked the couple for their generous donation of $150,000 to help renovate the restaurant and for their long-time service to the community.
