Cher urges Turkey to acknowledge the Armenian Genocide –

In a Twitter post, world-known American-Armenian singer Cher has urged Turkey to acknowledge the Armenian Genocide.

“I don’t feel anger for or blame the people of Turkey for something that happened 100 years ago, but I think the Government should acknowledge Genocide,” Cher tweeted.

She also shared the story her grandmother told: “A horror story my grandmother told me. “The Turks came to village, they called a town meeting and shot men and boys and raped the women and girls.”
