Khachanov reaches NBO Toronto final

World No.16 Karen Khachanov (Russia) has reached the final in the men’s singles competition at the National Bank Open Presented by Rogers tournament in Toronto, Canada. In the semifinals, the Muscovite Armenian tennis player faced world No.3 Alexander Zverev (Germany) and won 6:3, 4:6, 7:6 (7:4).

The match lasted 2 hours and 54 minutes. In the final, Khachanov will go against world No.7 Ben Shelton (USA), who defeated fellow countryman and world No.4 Taylor Fritz 6:4, 6:3 in their semifinal clash.

The prize fund of the National Bank Open Presented by Rogers is $9.1 million.
