Vietnam considers possibility of recognizing Armenian Genocide –

Yerevan – Vietnam considers possibility of recognizing Armenian Genocide, Vietnam’s Justice Minister Ha Hung Cưong said during his visit to Yerevan yesterday.

“We consider the possibility of recognizing Armenian Genocide. Vietnam condemns genocide against any nation,” the Minister told Armenian News agency NEWS.am correspondent after visiting Armenian Genocide Memorial in Yerevan.

Speaking about relations between the two states, Ha Hung Cưong described them as friendly. he further said, that during the war in Vietnam, Armenia helped in manpower and training. Many vietnamese students who got education in Armenia during the cold war are now working in vietnamese state institutions and different organizations in Vietnam, he assured.
