News.am – Descendants of the nations that suffered genocide in the Ottoman Empire united to create an organization in Germany, Chairman of the Armenian Academic Association of Germany, Azat Ordukhanyan said.

Ordukhanyan, who is a deputy chairman of newly formed organization, said Armenians, Greeks, Assyrians, natives of Dersim, Yezidis , Kurds and Alawites united in an organization called AGADEKA that will focus on recognition of genocide and restoration of historical and cultural rights of the nations.

“Deputy chairman of the central office of Pontic Greeks Ilias Mavrikis has been elected the chairman. We managed to understand each other and unite as a family,” he said, adding that organization will be registered in the court of Cologne.
