Dear ANCC friends & supporters,
In this issue of our ANCC update, we want to share the successes of our grassroots advocacy across the country, on a vast range of issues;
- From Vancouver B.C. – Outstanding efforts by the ANCC and our vibrant Vancouver community in kick-starting our bi-annual fundraising campaign. A special thanks to all our generous donors and all those who made this event a success in raising over $62,000. Stay tuned for more fundraising dates in Quebec and Ontario!
- Canada – Armenia Relations – Your support made it possible for ANCC to support Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s historic official visit to Yerevan, Armenia in October 2019. We are continuing to work with our elected officials to increase trade between the two countries, strengthen the people-to-people ties and strongly advocate for the establishment of a Canadian diplomatic mission in Yerevan, a crucial step in substantially advancing the bilateral relations between Ottawa and Yerevan.
- Artsakh Advocacy – We have scored an upsurge in our advocacy efforts related to defending and advocating for a safe, secure and prosperous Artsakh. Based on our recent successes, we are continuing to raise more awareness on the vital importance of Artsakh’s right to self-determination and the peaceful resolution of the conflict within the framework of OSCE Minsk Group.
- Our Youth – We are currently working on various programs and initiatives to have our youth more involved and provide them with the necessary tools to advance all the issues that we all care for.
