Armenia, Lebanon sign military cooperation plan –
A delegation of the Lebanese Armed Forces concluded its visit to Armenia today.
During the visit, the delegation held meetings with Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan and other top military officials.
The delegation also visited several departments of Armenian Defense Ministry, educational institutions and military industry enterprises, the press service of the Armenian Defense Ministry reported.
Issues related to military education, training and peacekeeping were discussed. An agreement was reached to organize reciprocal visits of the Armenian and Lebanese Defense Ministers in the near future.
Head of Armenian Defense Ministry’s Defense Policy Department Levon Ayvazyan and head of the Lebanese delegation Brigadier General Manuel Kirejian signed the bilateral military cooperation plan for 2015.
