Mark Moogalian awarded the Legion d’Honneur by President Francois Hollande – 

ARMENPRESS – Armenian professor Mark Moogalian, who was the first to wrestle a weapon from the Paris-Brussels train gunman on August 21, was awarded with France’s highest prize for bravery by French President Francois Hollande. The press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Tigran Balayan informed about this on his Twitter page. Mark Moogalian, 51, was the first to wrestle gunmen Ayoub El-Khazzani during the August incident. He had tried to neutralize the terrorist by grasping the rifle. According to Moogalian’s sister, he got penetrating gunshot wound while attacking the terrorist. Moogalian was taken to hospital and is still under the control of doctors.
