The Obama Administration’s kowtowing to Turkey’s genocide denial reached new lows recently with the Washington Post’s revelationthat the White House is refusing to lend a rug, woven by orphaned survivors of the Armenian Genocide, for viewing at the Smithsonian Institute.
The White House had originally agreed to lend the iconic rug, which was a gift to President Calvin Coolidge in recognition of U.S. humanitarian assistance to genocide survivors, but then – without explanation, reversed its decision.

Send a letter to your U.S. Representative to:

1) Press the White House to make the Armenian Genocide Orphan Rug permanently and prominently available for public view;

2) Support U.S. efforts to secure Turkey’s recognition and justice for the Armenian Genocide by cosponsoring the Armenian Genocide resolution, H.Res.227.
