Gatilov calls for UN Security Council urgent meeting on Kesab –

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov called for a UN Security Council urgent meeting to discuss the crimes committed by the armed terrorist groups against the residents of Kesab city in Lattakia countryside, near the border with Turkey.

“An investigation should be conducted into the shooting on the Armenian residents of Kesab city by the gunmen,” Gatilov wrote on his Twitter page, as quoted by Russia Today website.

“It’s necessary that the Security Council discuss that as soon as possible,” he added.

Armed terrorist groups launched last week an assault against Kesab city in northern Syria under the cover and support of Erdogan’s government which has facilitated the entry of the gunmen into Lattakia northern countryside.
