Five Armenian athletes to compete at Milan–Cortina 2026 Olympics

(Horizon Weekly) – Five Armenian athletes will take part in the Milan–Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games.
The 25th Winter Olympic Games will be held from February 6 to 22 in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo.
Armenia will be represented by five athletes, according to the Armenian National Olympic Committee.
The International Ski Federation has confirmed the participation of three Armenian athletes in the Olympic Games. Based on their ranking points, quota places have been allocated to cross country skiers Mikayel Mikayelyan and Katya Galstyan, and alpine skier Harutyun Harutyunyan.
In figure skating, the sports pair Karina Akopova and Nikita Rakhmanin have also secured an Olympic berth.
