Armenians give military highest approval rating among institutions

Respondents in a nationwide poll conducted by the International Republican Institute’s (IRI) Center for Insights in Survey Research (CISR) were asked how satisfied or dissatisfied they were with the work of various institutions in Armenia. The Armenian military got the highest approval rating.
Respondents were mostly satisfied with the work of the military, according to the survey.
43% said they were very satisfied, while 29% said somewhat satisfied with the work of the armed forces. 11% said they were somewhat dissatisfied, while 13% said very dissatisfied with it. 4% refused to answer.
Regarding the Armenian Apostolic Church,34% said they were very satisfied, 24% said somewhat satisfied, 11% said somewhat dissatisfied, 24% said very dissatisfied, and 6% did not answer.
In terms of police, 20% said very satisfied, 34% said somewhat satisfied, 16% said somewhat dissatisfied, 25% said very dissatisfied and 4% refused to answer.
Army leadership – 18% very satisfied, 30% somewhat satisfied, 15% somewhat dissatisfied, 29% very dissatisfied, 8% refused to answer.
Prime Minister’s Office – 15% very satisfied, 23% somewhat satisfied, 14% somewhat dissatisfied, 44% very dissatisfied, 4% refused to answer.
President’s Office – 10% very satisfied, 22% somewhat satisfied, 14% somewhat dissatisfied, 34% very dissatisfied, 17% refused to answer.
Government ministries – 8% very satisfied, 30% somewhat satisfied, 22% somewhat dissatisfied, 31% very dissatisfied, 9% refused to answer.
National Assembly – 7% very satisfied, 17% somewhat satisfied, 18% somewhat dissatisfied, 54% very dissatisfied, 4% refused to answer.
Corruption Prevention Commission – 12% very satisfied, 23% somewhat satisfied, 18% somewhat dissatisfied, 37% very dissatisfied, 9% refused to answer.
Courts – 8% very satisfied, 23% somewhat satisfied, 22% somewhat dissatisfied, 30% very dissatisfied, 16% refused to answer.

The survey was conducted on behalf of the International Republican Institute’s Center for Insights in Survey Research by Breavis (represented by IPSC LLC). Data was collected from June 16-26, 2025 through CATI administered telephone interviews. The sample consisted of 1,505 resident citizens of Armenia and forcibly displaced former residents of Nagorno Karabakh who are now residing in Armenia (who may or may not be citizens).
