Zareh Sinanyan elected Mayor of Glendale city

Glendale city Councilmember Zareh Sinanyan has been elected Mayor of the city.

Sinanyan, who served in the post of the Glendale mayor in 2014, was born in Yerevan in 1973. He and his family immigrated to the United States in 1988 and settled in Burbank, California.

Sinanyan received a bachelor’s Degree from UCLA in History and Political Science and a Juris Doctorate from USC. As a Councilmember, Sinanyan has served as the Vice-Chair of the Eco-Rapid Transit Authority, Secretary of the Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport Authority, and as the Chair of the Glendale Housing Authority.

Sinanyan has a proven record of advocating for the betterment of Glendale’s diverse population and working closely with the Armenian American Community, advocating for Armenia and Artsakh.
