Slovakia’s Foreign Minister visits Armenian Genocide Memorial

On an official visit to Armenia, Slovakia’s Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Miroslav Lajčák visited the Tsitsernakaberd memorial, Armenian Public Radio reports.

The Foreign Minister laid a flower at the Memorial to the Armenian Genocide victims and paid tribute to their memory with a moment of silence.

Deputy Director of the Armenian genocide Museum Institute Hasmik Martirosyan briefed the guests on the history of construction of the memorial.
