Martakert kindergarten renovated and furnished by generous donation of Armenian Missionary Association of America

Funded by the Armenian Missionary Association of America, Movses Janbazian kindergarten in Martakert has been renovated and furnished.

Lusine Hayriyan, responsible for social programs of Artsakh branch of Armenian Missionary Association of America, informed “Artsakhpress”.

She informed that the renovation works of the kindergarten started on August 29 of the current year and in early November the construction works have been completed.

”The one-storey kindergarten is designed for 70 children. It has a heating system. New windows and doors have been installed in the building; the bathroom has been replaced with a new one. Interior and exterior finishing works have also been implemented. The kindergarten is equipped with furniture,” informed L.Hayriyan and added that the kindergarten has all the proper conditions for conducting educational work with children.

Reverend Dr. Movses Janbazian (1945-2000) served as Executive Director of the Armenian Missionary Association of America from 1987-2000. Reverend Movses Janbazian–whose legacy of commitment to the Armenian Genocide and his devoted service to Armenian people as Director of the Armenian Missionary Association of America were a source of inspiration to future generations.
