Armenian President awards Cem Özdemir with Medal for his contribution to the international recognition of the Armenian Genocide

(Armradio) – Member of the German Bundestag Cem Özdemir has been awarded Mkhitar Gosh Medal for his significant contribution to the international recognition of the Armenian Genocide.

Co-leader of Germany’s Green Party Cem Özdemir was one of the initiators of the Armenian Genocide resolution that was approved by Germany’s Parliament (Bundestag) on June 2, 2016.
