Armenian Genocide Institute to cooperate with Canadian Human Rights Museum

The Armenian Genocide Museum Institute (AGMI) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Canadian Human Rights Museum.

Under the document, the two structures will cooperate in the fields of education and science and will organize inter-museum events and organize temporary exhibitions.

The MoU will enable the parties to cooperate on Armenian genocide and human rights studies, as well as exchange experience in the field.

The Memorandum was signed today by AGMI Director Harutyun Marutyan and President and CEO of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights John Young.

Following the signing ceremony, members of the Canadian delegation laid a wreath at the memorial to the Armenian Genocide victims and paid tribute to their memory with a moment of silence.
