Armenia’s Kalachian Becomes European Wrestling Champion (video) –

 

Hrant Kalachian (66 kg) won a gold medal for Armenia on the last day of the European Junior Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship, which wrapped up in Katowice, Poland.

As reports News.am, Artur Simonian (55 kg), Varujan Krikorian (84 kg), and Edgar Khachadrian (120 kg), on the other hand, did not win any medals. On the first day of the tournament, however, Armenia’s Kevork Gharibian (60 kg) had become European champion in his weight category. Garen Apkarian (96 kg), on the other hand, has captured a bronze medal.
