The Independent showcases Yerevan as a top travel destination

Travel writer Laura Millar describes Yerevan as a city where centuries of history coexist with a lively contemporary atmosphere, drawing attention to its distinctive architecture, cafés, restaurants and cultural landmarks. The article notes that the Armenian capital remains relatively underexplored by international travelers despite the range of experiences it offers.

Millar visited Armenia as part of a familiarization trip organized by the Tourism Committee of Armenia. Her itinerary extended beyond the capital to several of the country’s best-known destinations, including the ancient pagan Temple of Garni, the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Geghard Monastery and the Symphony of Stones geological formation.
