ANCC-West meets ministers Sajjan and Wilson-Raybould  –

VANCOUVER—A delegation of the Armenian National Committee of Canada – Western Region (ANCC-West) met with Canada’s Minister of National Defence Harjit Sajjan and Minister of Justice Jody Wilson-Raybould. The meeting between the ministers and the ANCC-West delegation comprised of Vahig Agopian and Vahe Andonian, occurred during the  annual gala of the S.U.C.C.E.S.S. foundation, on March 12.

 The ministers enquired and were briefed about the BC Armenian community’s efforts toward helping the Syrian refugees. The ANCC members reminded the ministers about the tense situation created by constant azerbaijani aggressions at the Artsakh and Armenian borders, and the need for the international community to reign in the aggressiveness of the Baku dictatorship. The ministers promised to take the issue to the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

 The same day, the delegation met also with the deputy Consul General of China Fan Xiao Dong.
