Armenia could launch production of Sputnik V vaccine – Russian Ambassador

Panarmenian – The Russian Direct Investment Fund and the Armenian Ministry of Health are negotiating the establishment of production of Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine in Armenia, Russian ambassador to Yerevan Sergei Kopyrkin said Friday, March 26.

“I have no specific information regarding the production, but I do know that the matter is being actively discussed,” Kopyrkin told reporters in Yerevan.

According to him, Russia is already starting to supply vaccines to Armenia. The ambassador also expressed hope for “a fairly quick” delivery.
