Armenian wrestler defeats Azerbaijani athlete at World Championship –
PanARMENIAN.Net – Young Armenian wrestler Sergey Simonyan (50kg weight class) beat Azeri athlete Ziyad Zeynalov 8:0 at the Junior World Championship in Macon, France.
The tournament kicked off Tuesday, August 30 and will run through September 4.
Besides, Simonyan, Greco-Roman wreslters Edgar Tamazyan (55kg), Gevorg Khumaryan (60 kg), Malkhas Amoyan (66kg), Arman Baghdasaryan (74 kg), Edgar Khachatryan (120 kg), as well as freestyle wrestlers Arman Antonyan (50 kg), Mkhitar Grigoryan (55 kg), Harutyun Barseghyan (60 kg), Hakob Avetisyan (66 kg), Tigran Mnatsakanyan (74 kg) and Sargis Hovsepyan (96 kg) represent Armenia at the Championship.
