We must ensure that the names of Armenians killed in 1915 are never forgotten, Canadian Foreign Minister Mélanie Joly said in a message on the occasion of the 110th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.

“In 1915, over 1.5 million Armenians were killed. We must ensure their names and stories are never forgotten. Today, we acknowledge the profound resilience of the 120,000 Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh who were forcibly displaced from their lands in 2023,” Joly said.
