Switzerland’s Council of States is set to hold discussions on March 18 regarding the peaceful resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and ensuring the return of forcibly displaced Armenians. This information was published on the official website of the Swiss Parliament, as reported by Armenpress.
Earlier, in December 2024, the lower house of Parliament, the National Council, adopted a resolution urging the Swiss government to initiate an international peace conference dedicated to the conflict.
The resolution states that the proposed conference aims to “facilitate dialogue between representatives of Azerbaijan and Nagorno-Karabakh Armenians regarding the safe and collective return of the Armenian population under international oversight or presence.”
