Photo exhibition in Paris raises awareness about Nagorno-Karabakh’s Armenian heritage at risk

A photo exhibition raising awareness about the endangered Armenian heritage in Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) has opened in Paris.

The exhibition “Nagorno-Karabakh: Armenian Heritage at Risk” has been organized jointly by the Paris City Hall and L’Œuvre d’Orient, a Catholic aid organization.

The exhibition launched at the famous Place de la Bastille in Paris on 14 December last year to run until 15 January 2024, the Armenian Embassy in France reported on Wednesday.

In her opening remarks, Armenian Ambassador to France Hasmik Tolmajian thanked the Paris municipality and L’Œuvre d’Orient for supporting Armenia and the Armenian people.

Deputy Paris Mayors Carine Rolland and Arnaud Ngatcha, L’Œuvre d’Orient President Jean-Yves Tolot and others attended the opening ceremony.
