Opposition MP: Armenian government has no Artsakh-related agenda

Opposition lawmaker Garnik Danielyan criticized the Armenian leadership for neglecting the urgent needs of Artsakh Armenians at a protest outside the government building on Friday.

“The current government has no agenda regarding Artsakh, the return of its people, preservation of cultural heritage and addressing their basic needs,” Danielyan stated.

Dozens of displaced Artsakh Armenians gathered to protest against the deteriorating social conditions they face, expressing frustration over lack of state support.

“If these people’s social problems remain unresolved, they will be left on the streets without even the most basic living conditions. The few minimal support programs that do exist are being phased out,” the MP said.

“These people fled Artsakh with only the clothes on their backs, leaving everything behind. The government hasn’t outlined any plan to help them find employment,” he added.
