Greek Prime Minister commemorates 110th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis has commemorated the 110th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.

“Today we honor the memory of 1.5 million victims of the Armenian Genocide, 110 years ago, by staying vigilant against all forms of violence and intolerance. Greeks and Armenians are connected by shared experiences over time. Here, after all, many victims of the persecution found shelter. They became part of the national web and a creative arm of our society. This is why the timeless togetherness of the two peoples for Truth, Dignity and Justice is indescribable,” the Prime Minister said.
