German president pays tribute to Armenian Genocide victims

German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier on Monday visited the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial in Yerevan to pay tribute to the Armenian Genocide victims.

He laid a wreath at the memorial and placed flowers near the eternal flame, honoring the memory of the genocide victims, Armenpress reported.

Steinmeier arrived in Armenia as part of a regional trip on Sunday.
