France’s New Government Includes Three Armenian Ministers

President Emmanuel Macron’s administration announced the new cabinet, which Includes three Armenian ministers, Astrid Panosian-Bouvet as Minister of Labor and Employment, Guillaume Kasbarian as Minister of Civil Service and Transformation, and Antoine Armand as Minister of Economy, Finance, and Industry.

Jean-Noël Barrot has been appointed Foreign Minister, while Sébastien Lecornu continues as Minister of Armed Forces. Bruno Retailleau will lead the Ministry of the Interior. In 2021, he and Prime Minister Michel Barnier visited Armenia and Artsakh, resulting in both being declared persona non grata by Azerbaijan.
