Deputy Chief of Armenian Army leads delegation to Italy

Major General Karen Grigoryan, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia, led a delegation to Italy, the Ministry of Defense informs.

The delegation participated in an event within the framework of the Armenia-Italy 2024 Cooperation Program in the field of defense (ITA4).

During the meeting with the Commander of the Engineering Brigade of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Italy, Brigadier General Dello Monaco and other officials, a number of issues related to the development and deepening of bilateral cooperation within the framework of the EU and NATO, as well as in the field of defense, were discussed.

The hosts shared the experience of the Italian side on the training of engineering troops, specialists, organization of drills, as well as the work of engineering units during peacekeeping missions.

Lieutenant General Karen Grigoryan expressed gratitude for the invitation and reception.
