Artur Aleksanyan best Greco-Roman wrestler in Europe in 2024

The European Council of the World Wrestling Federation recognized Artur Aleksanyan as the best Greco-Roman wrestler in Europe in 2024.

And the title of the best Greco-Roman wrestling coach was awarded to  the head coach of the Armenian national team Armen Babalaryan.

<The Wrestling Federation of Armenia congratulates them on these  great successes, which emphasize the strength and talent of Armenian  wrestling. This inspires future athletes and coaches to continue  their work in the international arena>, – the Federation said in a  statement.

Artur Aleksanyan is a five-time European champion, four-time world  champion, and Olympic champion.

Armen Babalaryan is a USSR Master of Sports of International Class,  Honored Coach of Armenia
