Armenian wrestler Hayk Khloyan crowned U23 world champion

Greco-Roman wrestler Hayk Khloyan clinched a gold medal at the U23 World Championships being held in Tirana, Albania.

He defeated Abubakar Khaslakhanau of Belarus 11-6 in the final on Tuesday to claim the world title, the Armenian Wrestling Federation reported.

The Armenian wrester had held off European silver medalist Magomed Murtazaliev (AIN) 3-3 in the semifinal.
