Armenia will have a Military Attaché at its Embassy in the European Union. The decision was adopted at the Government sitting today.
Armenian Military Attaché to NATO (residence in Brussels) will be concurrently appointed as Military Attaché to the EU.
“The support provided to Armenia under the European Peace Facility, the launch of negotiations on a framework agreement for Armenia’s participation in EU crisis management missions, and the significant expansion of the security and defense component in the new Armenia-European Union partnership agenda have created favorable conditions for the further development of military cooperation with the EU,” the Armenian Government says.
