ARF Canada Central Committee Announcement

A few days ago, during a meeting with a group of members of the Armenian community in Switzerland, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, questioned the veracity of the Armenian Genocide in his comments.

Such political behavior only downgrades the decades-long struggle of the Armenian people towards the recognition of the Armenian Genocide and deals an irreversible blow to the Armenian communities in the Diaspora, who are the direct result of the genocide itself.

Any act of supporting the genocide denial propaganda by a leader of the Republic of Armenia is condemnable, especially at the current stage, when the forced displacement of the people of Artsakh took place through a military offensive planned by the same genocidaires.

ARF Canada condemns such statements that cast doubt on the veracity of the Armenian Genocide and reaffirms its commitment to continue the struggle for the restoration of historical justice for the Armenian people.
