April War Hero Bagrat Aleksanyan’s Poems Will be Published in 2017

(Armedia) – The dream of Bagrat Aleksanyan – a soldier who was killed during the April War, is coming true: the collection of his poems will be published in 2017, publishing director of the Union of Writers of Armenia Shant Mkrtchyan said, Artsakhpress reports.

“It is already confirmed that the collection will be published by state support. Perhaps it will be ready in summer. 200 copies will be printed”, he said.

Earlier, the parents of the hero told Artsakhpress that their son had a number of poems. He wrote about everything, about ”Ararat”, ”Fatherland”, etc.

His parents addressed both the Culture Ministry and the Union of Writers, with  the hope that their son’s poems will be published. That was Bagrat’s only dream.
