Spanish city of Benalmádena recognizes Armenian Genocide –

ARMENPRESS – Spanish city of Benalmádena officially recognized and condemned the Armenian Genocide on August 12. The City Council and all political forces represented in it have unanimously voted in favor of the institutional statement.

Benalmádena joined the series of more than two dozen Spanish cities that have recognized the Armenian Genocide.

Benalmádena is a town in Andalusia in southern Spain, 12 km west of Málaga, on the Costa del Sol with a popuation of 60 thousand people.
