ISIS is a Threat to the Armenian Homeland: Former Head of National Security Service –

Nyut.am – Islamic caliphate threatens Armenia, it is just 300 kilometers away. They do not recognize either Eastern or Western Armenia.These territories are included in their maps as caliphate, former head of Armenian National Security Service Gurgen Yeghiazaryan said.

 He said that Turkey is secretly providing weapon to ISIS. “After committing the Armenian genocide in 1915, 100 years later it committed another genocide against Kurds and Yezidis,” Yeghiazaryan said, stressing that for ISIS Armenia ranks third among its enemies, after Israel and Iran. It is said that Azerbaijan is also included in its caliphate map but Yeghiazaryan does not exclude the possibility of their joint efforts against Armenia.

 Yeghiazaryan said that to defend Armenia first of al  it is necessary to put the anti-missile defense on new basis for which serious investments and new budget allocations are necessary.
