German President says the massacre of Armenians in 1915 was Genocide –

German President Joachim Gauck has described the mass killing of Armenians in the Ottoman Empire as genocide and accepted the German guilt, according to Reuters Deutschland.

The German President today attended a ceremony commemorating the centennial of the Armenian Genocide in Berlin.

The German Bundestag is expected to consider a bill on the Armenian Genocide tomorrow morning.
