ARF World Congress Concludes, with the Election of New Bureau –
YEREVAN–The 32nd Word Congress of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation concluded Saturday with the election of a new Bureau, which is the highest executive body of the party.
The World Congress, which kicked off on January 16, was attended by delegates from all regions of the organization, as well as guests who were invited by the regions and the outgoing Bureau.
The Congress examined the activities of the ARF in the past cycle, and outlined priorities—political and strategic—for the upcoming term. The Congress discussed Armenia’s domestic state of affairs, foreign policy, and matters of national importance.
Before the conclusion of the Congress, a new Bureau was elected to lead the organization in the next four years.
The new body, which is representative of most of the ARF’s organizational regions is comprised of the following:

Dr. Viken Yacoubian (Western US)
Hagop Khatcherian (Lebanon)
Hrant Makarian (Armenia)
Giro Manoyan (Armenia)
Khatchig Mouradian (Eastern US)
Benyamin Bdjakchian (Lebanon)
Hagop Der-Khatchadourian (Canada)
Armen Roustamian (Armenia)
Spartak Seyranian (Armenia)
Mourad Papazian (France)
At its plenary session, the Bureau elected Markarian as its chair and Roustamiian as its political representative
