Weddings are on the increase in Artsakh –

Data released by the Office of National Statistics Service (NSS) of Nagorno Karabagh Republic (NKR) indicates that there was an increase of births in Qashatakh region and Stepanakert.

According to the NSS of the NKR there were 1162 marriages registered in the republic in January-October 2014. The number of marriages increased by 66.2 percent (463 marriages) compared to January-October months of last year. There were 176 divorces registered during the same period.
