Extremist forces fired homemade rockets on Nor Kyough neighborhood of Syria’s Aleppo on August 9. Three Armenians were killed: Melkon Balian, his brother, Jirayr Balian, and Harutyun Sarkissian. The attack also resulted in injuries and material damage, Gandzasar Weekly said in a Facebook post.
