New Movie Project on Karabakh to be Introduced at Cannes Film Festival –

Filmmaker Jivan Avedisian is getting ready to introduce his new film project titled “The Last Resident” at the 67th Cannes Film Market. The events of the movie dedicated to the history of Nagorno Karabakh take place in 1988-89.

In a conversation with “Armenpress” filmmaker Jivan Avedisian stated: “The National Cinema Centre of Armenia gave me an opportunity to introduce my new story at the Armenian pavilion of the Cannes Film Market. Also, the Russian side as well allowed us to introduce the project in their pavilion for several minutes. Each year they choose several projects, the authors of which are allowed to introduce them in their pavilion for several minutes. ‘The Last Resident’ is among those projects this year.”
