Ottawa City Hall to raise Armenian flag to celebrate Independence Day

The Armenian flag will be raised in front of Ottawa City Hall on September 21 to celebrate the 29th anniversary of Armenia’s independence

Ottawa mayor Jim Watson will be attending the event at 9 am, and the Armenian Embassy in Canada is encouraging everyone interested to celebrate together.

Also on September 21, Niagara Falls will be lit up with the colours of the Armenian flag.
