Yerevan bus blast alleged perpetrator sought to hurt own family –

PanARMENIAN.Net – New details emerge following a bus explosion that hit Yerevan on Monday, April 25, Armtimes reports.

According to spokeswoman for Armenia’s Investigative Committee Sona Truzyan, the person whose phone card was found in the search and seizure activities of the bus, was at odds with his family members, seeking to hurt them with an explosion.

According to the National Security Service’s preliminary data, a mobile phone card was found at the scene among other things. The holder of the card has been identified as an Armenian citizen who has been twice convicted previously. In addition, trinitrotoluene explosive material, detonators and various types of electrical equipment were found in search and seizure activities carried out by the police at his place of residence.

Elements of trinitrotoluene explosive material were also found in the samples, seized by the police during the examination of the incident.

2 people were killed and 8 more were injured, as a blast hit a bus on Yerevan, Armenia’s Halabyan street.
