Republican Party, ARF sign Agreement on Political Cooperation –

Armradio – Following the signing of a political cooperation agreement between the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) and the Armenian Revolutionary Federation Dashnaktsutyun (ARF-D), on Wednesday, Aghvan Vardanyan told reporters that, under the agreement, ARF-D members will fill the posts of Armenia’s minister of education and science, minister of economy, minister of territorial administration and development, as well as the posts of governors of the Shirak and Aragatsotn regions.

“Hovsep Simonyan will fill the post of Shirak governor, and Gagik Gyozalyan will fill the post of Aragatsotn governor. As to the ministers, you know their names,” Mr Vardanyan said.

Earlier the ARF-D nominees for ministerial posts were named: Artsvik Minasyan (minister of economy), Levon Mkrtchyan (minister of education and science), David Lokyan (minister of territorial administration and development).
