Supermoon rises over Yerevan

Armradio – Skygazers enjoyed magical views as a dazzling supermoon rose across Armenia.

December’s full moon, traditionally known as the Cold Moon, appears bigger and brighter in the sky as it sits closer than average to Earth.

That kind of full moon won’t be seen again on Earth until 2034, according to NASA.

The next supermoons are on Jan. 2 and Jan. 31, 2018.
