Legendary filmmaker James Cameron to visit Yerevan for special public event

(Horizon Media / YEREVAN) — Legendary filmmaker James Cameron will visit Armenia this November for a special public event in Yerevan, the municipality announced on September 24.

The acclaimed director, screenwriter and producer will meet with audiences on November 23 at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex for “In Conversation with James Cameron: A Cinema Legend, Live in Yerevan.” The event, scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m., will focus on Cameron’s filmmaking career, creative process, technological innovation and the ideas behind some of his most influential projects. Ticket sales are set to begin on September 25.

Cameron is the filmmaker behind some of the most recognizable films in modern cinema, including The Terminator, Aliens, Titanic and the Avatar franchise.

Yerevan Municipality described the event as a rare opportunity for Armenian audiences and members of the film community to hear directly from Cameron about his decades-long career and approach to ambitious, technologically groundbreaking filmmaking.
