Olympiacos sign Armenia international Nair Tiknizyan

(Horizon Media) – Greek giants Olympiacos have completed the signing of Armenian international defender Nair Tiknizyan, adding the 27-year-old left-back to their squad from Serbian champions Crvena Zvezda.

Born in St. Petersburg on May 12, 1999, Tiknizyan arrives in Greece after spending just over a year with Crvena Zvezda. Since joining the Belgrade club in the summer of 2025, he made 67 appearances across all competitions, including seven during the current season.

Tiknizyan brings considerable experience from Russian football as well. Before moving to Serbia, he spent several seasons with Lokomotiv Moscow, where he made 122 appearances. Earlier in his career, he featured 43 times for CSKA Moscow and also had a spell with Avangard Kursk.

Although he represented Russia at the U19, U20 and U21 levels, Tiknizyan later chose to represent Armenia at senior international level. He has since become a regular member of the Armenian national team, earning 31 caps.

The move to Olympiacos marks the latest chapter in Tiknizyan’s career and will see him compete for one of Greece’s most successful and prominent football clubs.
