Here is your chance to see a new documentary by Armenian Canadian filmmaker and producer Marlene Edoyan, whose previous film was Figure of Armen.
La mer entre nous/ The Sea Between Us is filmed in the different neighbourhoods of Beirut in Lebanon and is told from the perspective and personal stories of two strong Lebanese women who are of the same generation but from different backgrounds. Is reconciliation possible in a country still divided by invisible barriers and sectarian strife?
The filmmaker makes strong connections between the civil war and the Lebanon of today, right before the Revolution. SEE TRAILER.
